The applicant has applied for the following resource consent from Christchurch City Council:
RMA/2025/506 - To use Land to Construct and Operate a Dry Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Plant with associated earthworks. The proposed buildings (combined area 16,000m2) will accommodate an organics processing facility and associated staff facilities and workshop. External plant/structures include a combined heat and power plant (CHP) biogas storage, dry anaerobic digesters, biofilters and rainwater storage tanks. Access is via Miners Road with a new sealed service road proposed to link up with the existing Miners Road access, with areas for staff car parking and stormwater facilities.
