Thanks for sharing your views about the Avonhead Park tree planting plan, and to those who attended the park walk to discuss the plan further.

As a result of the feedback we received, the Avonhead Park tree planting plan has been amended.

The main amendments we've made:

• Removal of some trees along the eastern side of the park, these trees were previously behind properties on Hatfield Place and Arundel Gate,
• Removal of some trees in the centre of the park, between the northern and southern sports fields to accommodate summertime sports field use,
• Decrease total number of additional trees from 321 to 277.
