The Waimāero Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board decided to approve the tree planting plan

Consultation on Derwent Reserve tree planting plan has now closed. People were able to provide feedback from 13 October to 2 November.

Examples of trees we're planting

All trees are planted at their early stages in the winter months, varying from heights of 15cm to 150cm. We expect trees to take approximately 30 years to reach maturity.
