The Elmwood Park Bowling Club has applied for a lease for the existing bowling green near Heaton Street.

This is the second and final phase in cementing the Elmwood Park Bowling Club’s occupation of Elmwood Park following the rebuild of their clubrooms and lease approval for that space in 2021.

Feedback was sought in 2021 on formalising the occupation of Elmwood Park with a lease for the area known as the Number two green. However, a decision on this lease area was not made at that time.

Given the amount of time that has passed, feedback is again being sought on the proposal to help inform a decision by the Community Board on whether to grant the lease.

The lease:

• Is for the area known as the No. 2 green - see area marked in yellow below
• Will reflect the existing use and layout of the site
• Will have a maximum term of 33 years in accordance with the Reserves Act 1977
