The Waimāero Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board decided to retain the existing clay jump at Jeffreys Reserve on 18 May 2026.

The existing jump will be retained for a further trial period of 12 months, including trialling a more durable clay composition, with a further report back to the Board at the end of the 12 month period.
