Consultation closed
Consultation on Momorangi Reserve Play Space Renewal has now closed. People were able to provide feedback from 17 June 2025 to 6 July 2025. You will be able to read their feedback and the staff recommendation once an agenda is available for the Waipapa Papanui Innes Central Community Board meeting, which we expect to be in October.
Momorangi Reserve could be a great local hangout spot for tamariki, whānau, neighbours, and friends! Let’s make it where fun happens—whether you're swinging, climbing, or just chilling together.
Why the upgrade?
The playground gear has had an awesome run, but it's time for something fresh! To keep the fun going safely, we're bringing in modern play equipment that’s just as exciting—so you can keep climbing, exploring, and laughing for years to come.
We're planning to install:
- A 2-bay swing set - one with a basket for extra fun
- A climber to conquer
- A see-saw for up-and-down adventures
- A spinner to whirl and giggle on
- Nature play with logs and stumps — perfect for little explorers
