What we heard through consultation

Thanks to everyone who submitted feedback on this project

We received a total of 36 submissions about the Pūrau foreshore and recreation ground redevelopment, from 33 individuals and the following organisations:

  • Pūrau Residents' Association
  • Go Bus / Kinetic Ltd
  • Disabled Persons Assembly.

Next steps

Staff will present to Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū Banks Peninsula Community Board next Monday with an update on what was heard through public consultation. This is an information-only session. The Community Board will make a decision on the project at a following meeting, likely in September.
