Community noticesAdapting to sea level rise in Lyttelton Harbour and Port Levy Adaptation planning is about preparing now for the effects of coastal hazards on our communities, infrastructure and environment so that we are ready for what may happen in the future. Council is working closely with a Coastal Panel of community and Rūnanga representatives to develop adaptation pathways for public assets. Local values and local knowledge are key to finding a way forward for communities. Council will make the final decision about adaptation pathways, based on recommendations from the Coastal Panel. We'd like your feedback on whether the Coastal Panel is on the right track with these draft pathways before we do any further work on them. Find more information and provide feedback here. Port
