Hearings Panel meeting complete

The Hearings Panel resolved to recommend the Draft Trade Waste Bylaw 2025 is adopted by Council, with some amendments based on feedback received.

On Wednesday 12 March 2025 a Hearings Panel was formed to receive the staff report, consider all feedback and hear from those who wished to speak to them about their submission.

An analysis of all feedback was available as part of the staff report. You can view all submissions and the staff report with recommendations of changes to the Draft Bylaw in the meeting agenda below.

The meeting minutes which include the formal resolutions will be available on councillive.ccc.govt.nz within three days of the meeting.

Changes to the proposal

Having considered all feedback and staff recommendations the Hearings Panel agreed to endorse the staff proposed changes unchanged. They will now recommend the updated Draft Trade Waste Bylaw 2025 to Council who will make a final decision.
