Work has wrapped up a couple of weeks early at the Greers/Langdons intersection, with the final piece of the puzzle – green paint – going in last week.

Down the road, at the Langdons Road level crossing, civils and track work was also completed last week, a few weeks ahead of schedule.

What's next

Next year, the Council will upgrade Sawyers Arms Road level crossing, and then the new lights and gates at all three crossings can be switched on (commissioned).

It is expected for everything to be finished before mid-2025.

The Langdons Road level crossing will make it safer and easier for cyclists and pedestrians to cross the level crossings and roads when travelling along the Northern Line Cycleway.
