Ferrymead Heritage Park Night Market

Family friendly market which supports the preservation of the heritage park and education. A mix of food stalls, craft vendors, live music and fundraising. Saturday 7 March, from 4 to 8pm, Ferrymead Heritage Park - prices are free to $5.

UV Sports

Enjoy sports like never before! Try out dodgeball, pickleball, floorball and other exciting activities under UV lights! Saturday 7 March from 10am to 3pm at the Selwyn Sports Centre for just $5.

Join us for an unforgettable day of fun and friendly competition at our UV Sport Event. Experience the thrill of sports in a whole new light – literally. Each 1-hour session is facilitated by one of our amazing team members and includes rounds of dodgeball, pickleball, floorball (a safer style of hockey) and other mini games.

At 11am, photographer Mark Adams and Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki curator Sarah Farrar will lead a floor talk in Mark Adams: A Survey | He Kohinga Whakaahua. Then at 12pm, artist Ana Iti will be in conversation with curator Melanie Oliver about her exhibition Ana Iti: Ngahere Behind a Pile of Metal. After the talks, take your time exploring the rest of the Gallery – there’s plenty more to discover.

Help a Dune Out for Seaweek 2026

Come along and help a dune out! Plant spinifex with The Green Lab and Coastal Park Rangers at New Brighton Beach and learn how dunes defend our coast.

Come and join The Green Lab and the Coastal Park Rangers to trial a new Help a Dune Out initiative at New Brighton Beach, Saturday from 10am to 1pm, for free.
