Skill Share Night – Mānuka Cottage – Wednesday 18 June 6.30 to 8.00 pm

Come along tonight to learn something new! A couple of things on tonight – making Argentinian Empanadas with Jess (bring along your tastebuds) and screen printing with Marina (bring a light-coloured t-shirt or bag).

Matariki Planting Day at Addington Park – Saturday 21 June – 10am to 11am

We have 35 new trees to plant by the stream Bring spades, covered shoes and gardening gloves. Check Friends of Addington Park on Facebook for cancellations if wet.

Matariki Celebration – Mānuka Cottage - Saturday 21 June 5.00 to 7.30 pm

Celebrate Matariki and connect with members of our wonderful community at this time of renewal. Soup, BBQ, light show and friendly faces. If you would like to help with kai prep, please contact Allan (0277 259 148) or Wilby (0272 211 001).

Addington Neighbourhood Association (ANA) meeting – Wednesday 25 June

From 7pm onwards at St Mary’s Church – every last Wednesday of the month. Tea and coffee provided. All welcome!

Next Rangatahi Craft Club – Mānuka Cottage – Collage – Friday 27 June

We’re meeting at 4.00 to 5.30pm at Mānuka Cottage to explore collage using paint and spun art. Every second Friday during term time. For young people from year 7 to year 13. Gold coin donation appreciated.

Karaoke Night + Potluck Kai – The Dell, 19 Church Square – Saturday 28 June 6.30 to 9.00pm

Join us for a night of singing and fun! It’s potluck kai so bring a plate to share. Gold coin Koha appreciated. An alcohol-free event.

Addington Film Club – Mānuka Cottage – Wednesday 2 July at 7pm

Come hang out, watch a great Aotearoa film and have a kōrero. Bring your own snacks along with a gold coin Koha to help cover costs. Movie may not be suitable under 16-year-olds.

Addington Playcentre Playgroup – every Wednesday during term time – 9.30 to 11.30am

Join our playgroup – a place for you and your child to play, learn and grow together. At Conductive Ed, Addington School, Simeon Street entrance by Simeon Park.

‘The Common Room’ – every Wednesday from 3.00 to 5.30 pm at Mānuka Cottage

This is a space for Addington Rangatahi. Use the quiet room for study (free wifi), join an activity or just relax on the couches. Afternoon tea provided. All free! Drop in when it suits or come every week.

(This is a supervised space for Addington Rangatahi, Year 7-13. Those under 16 must have parent/career consent. Contact Lucy-Mary for further details – 021 0221 3478.)
