In 2023, a new play space in Quarry View Park was proposed and we received feedback from the community to help develop a plan. We’re now ready to share the concept design for the play space which includes traditional play equipment and nature play.

People told us they enjoyed climbing and swinging the most, and preferred equipment to be made out of wood.

We're planning to install:

• A climbing structure
• A swing set
• A spinning item
• Nature play
• Shaded seating
• A fully accessible footpath

Many people also commented that shade is a priority for this park, so we've created a tree planting plan for the wider park. You can find out more and provide feedback here.
