Men’s Health Expo

Te Hāpua Halswell Centre, 341 Halswell Road

The Halswell Menzshed is proud to announce an exciting and important event for the local community: a Men’s Health Expo! This free event is specially designed with older men in mind, but everyone is welcome—partners, whānau, neighbours, and friends.

With over 15 health providers and local companies already confirmed, the Expo promises to be a friendly, informative, and engaging morning. Attendees can expect a wide range of information tables and experts offering everything from free health checks and wellbeing advice, to exercise tips, mental health support, and even legal guidance.

Men are famously slow to visit the doctor, and the aim of this event is to break down some of those barriers. “We wanted to create a morning where guys could drop in, grab a cuppa, and have a yarn about health without feeling awkward,” says Tim Joyce from the Halswell Menzshed. “There’s no long speeches, no sales pitches—just straight-up, useful information.”

Whether you're looking to stay on top of your health, support a loved one, or just learn something new, this event is not to be missed. Pop in for 15 minutes or stay for the full morning—your health is worth it.

Book your ticket here.
