Consultation closed

Consultation on the Simeon Park tree planting plan has now closed. People were able to provide feedback from 29 April - 20 May 2024.

During this time, we heard from 19 individuals. You can read their feedback and the staff recommendation as part of the agenda for the Waihoro Spreydon-Cashmere-Heathcote Community Board meeting and find out how this influenced their decision to approve the Simeon Park tree planting plan.

All tree plans indicate trees at full maturity. The time scale for trees to reach maturity varies depending on species, but is expected to take 20-30 years.
