To keep the fun going safely, we’re bringing in modern play equipment that’s just as exciting— so you can keep climbing, exploring and having fun for years to come.

Earlier this year, we heard from a range of students from South Hornby School. They told us they’d really like:

• A tree house with slides
• A basket swing
• In-ground trampolines
• A spinning bucket
• Nature play
• Spinning swings

We can’t put everything in, so we used their feedback to develop two playground options:

• Option 1 – A tree house, spinner and talking tube
• Option 2 – A basket swing, in-ground trampolines and a carousel

Both options will include nature play and an accessible picnic table. Existing play equipment will be removed.

A new asphalt pathway will be installed through the reserve to make it easier for everyone to get to the play space and walk through the space.
