We have heard that when vehicles park on either side of the Opawa Road slip road between Brabourne Street and Grange Street it is difficult for residents to get in and out of their driveways. Employees of nearby businesses, and park users regularly park on the road. Some residents of the Opawa Road slip road have asked Council to investigate options to regulate parking.

We are proposing to:

• Install yellow no-stopping lines on the non-residential side of the road, removing approximately 25 parking spaces
• Keep approximately nine unrestricted parking spaces on the non-residential side of the road, opposite Hillsborough Park Domain
• Mark out unrestricted parking spaces on the residential side of the road, keeping 16 spaces available
• Install approximately eight P120 parking (Monday to Friday only) and one P10 parking in front of Hillsborough Park Domain
• Install yellow no-stopping lines over driveways
